Staying on the Strip & Renting a car
If this is your first Las Vegas trip then you will most likely be staying on the Strip. You probably wont need a rental car since there are so many things to do and see within walking distance.

True, but...
for my first full trip to Vegas, I didn''t rent a car and regretted it big time. We stayed at the Stardust and wanted to see lots of the other properties. Just walking from Stardust to Caesar''s is a long haul, and still you''re seeing at most 1/2 of the properties. Car rentals are crazy cheap in Vegas and will really help maximize your time.
