Excalibur is like the People's Casino. Best rates at that end of the strip. The room was clean, the maid freshened it every day with towels. etc... The internet is hardwired no Wifi and the cable was screwed up but it got replaced by the 1st evening. Then it worked fine. Nice big bathroom. The room had a view of the airport, which I liked. Bed was comfortable. One nit to pick was the bathroom light ballast had a loud hum. Check-in / check-out was easy. Has direct access to the Luxor and then Mandalay Bay, which is convenient. I might give Excal 5 stars except I'm very stingy.

The rooms are great so nice very clean and very reasonably priced with a king size bed, which is the most comfortable that I have ever had. The staff are fantastic and extremely helpful. My wife and I will be back this year again.

I have been to Vegas many a time and the last 4 times i have no where else but The Excalibur.its at the right end of the strip. Free up grade to a strip room was a bonus last stay. The rooms are great and the staff are fantastic. I always tell my friends to stay here and I always book through this site to get a bargain price.

Do yourself a favour
The Steak Hose at this hotel is fantastic, $30 for a steak but it is well worth it.

I Enjoyed my stay at the Excaliber it was better than my pervious stay when I stayed at a different hotel on the Strip. The room was so nice and very clean and the bathroom was like a suit I was so inpressed with the staff they were so nice and coutesy and the buffet they have is so good it had a variety of different option to choose from plus it was very affordable. I also like there casino cause I actually won there I would recommend the Excalibur :)

Please note the Excalibur was literally the cheapest room I found on the strip and my review is based on value for the money and not compared to the Bellagio. If you want the Bellagio I suggest you spend the $500plus a night. The front desk staff was pleasant and the line moved fast upon check-in for a Friday evening. Our room was upgraded for free so don’t forget to ask and be as nice as humanly possible with a big smile on your face. It never hurts to ask but you have no right to be disappointed if they can’t do it, let’s face it, rooms are limited. The room was comfortable, clean, large bathroom and served its purpose, but I try not to see the inside of the room while in Vegas until my eyes are so bloodshot I have to pass out. The casino floor is large with plenty of gaming, also easy access to the strip. The only thing that disappointed me was the non existence of valet parking. I am the type of person that must rent a car and I expect valet parking to be available to me as a hotel guest, this was not the case. The valet parking was full Friday evening & all of Saturday and I had to self-park. I understand parking may be at a premium in these mega hotels but other hotels I have stayed at in the past may close valet for the general public but will always valet for the guest actually staying in their hotel, my only suggestion would be to fix this problem.

The Spa was excellent and I highly recommend a massage from Tony, his hands were incredible and he knows his craft. I have a massage every vacation and believe me you can get a bad massage. I do not know Tony, have never met Tony prior to my massage, but I would strongly suggest you request him by name. The men’s locker room had everything you could need and the hot tub, steam room, sauna and shower facilities were top notch. Keep in mind if you’re a guest at the hotel you get a discount and if you have a M-Life card you get points for every dollar you spend at the spa so make sure to mention it if they don’t ask, but they will, staff was excellent and helpful.

My stay at the Excalibur

I wanted to see Sade in Vegas so we got a good deal from a travel agent, which happens to be a friend. I know not to stay in hotels like Circus Circus. I never stayed at the Excalibur, but I always wanted to because I like castle look. NEVER EVER STAY AT THE EXCALIBUR! From the moment we arrived, there were problems:

The baggage staff was awful they were more interested in their conversation instead of assisting us. Since I have medication that requires refrigeration, I called before we checked in to inquire about a refrigerator. I was told that the hotel would waive the fee for medication and I asked if I need Dr’s note. I told no. At check in, I was told the Excalibur doesn’t waive any fees for medications. The manager asked like I was trying to get something over on them when I told what the rep on the phone told me. I didn’t get the refrigerator, but they charged my credit card for it. After I acted fool, they took it off.

Our room was filthy, the bath mat was trash (ripped), the vents had never been cleaned, the furniture was old, and the chairs were soiled and faded. We Lysoled that room to death. Glasses that we didn’t used stay outside of room for 3 days until I called the front desk. I told by one of the managers that we had problems because we were in a basic room. I asked her "doesn’t a basic room deserve to be clean too?".

Guest Service at the Excaliber isn't all that great

Guest service at the Excaliber wasn't what it should have been. I spoke to many workers who handled my concerns attitudes and on more than one occasion told me what i was doing or had done was wrong. I'm not one to complain most times but in most cases the customer is always right. I know I won't be staying there again. They should step up their customer service.

Was very reasonably priced and had all the essetionals. The room was very roomy. (Deluxe tower). Staff was very friendly everywhere in the hotel, resturants and lounges. Our favorite was Dicks Last Resort. You can go between several hotels with out going outside, and to several more with out having to go far.

Craps at the Excalibur

My third stay at this casino it has the best value for a top location on the strip Payed just $22 midweek and $50 fri/sat oh yea plus an extra $4.95 resort fee per night great. value. I even got some comps for my room too.

It's about time they sorted out tower 1 the rooms look well dated. Could do with room safes at least. The excalibur seems to be now catering for the stag and hen parties and is looking a little tired now. 1st floor food court is a little cruddy and dismal. The good thing is the link to the Luxor and Mandalay Bay so can always eat there.

THE STAFF ARE SUPERB AND ARE ALWAYS WILLING TO DO WHAT EVER THEN CAN TO HELP AND I DO MEAN ALL THE STAFF THEY ARE LIKE ONE BIG FRIENDLY FAMILY . THE DEALERS ON THE CRAPS TABLES BECAME MY FRIENDS DURING MY STAY AND MADE VERY WELCOME SUPERB GUYS !!!!
*WhenI met Keith Richard I told him he looked like a bartender at the excalibur.*
Hotel 6/10
Staff 9/10

I WILL BE BACK AGAIN SOON

Gr8 rates via smartervegas.com site. Best available. I was booked in for 7 days and asked for a high level room, which checkin gave me, 26th Floor Tower 1 with limited view of the strip, that was fine. If you want easy access to the pool select Tower 2 otherwise you will have to walk through the casino to get to the pool/spa areas. Rooms are gr8 size even with a king size bed, which is the most comfortable that I have ever had and the pillows are like clouds for your head. TV facilities only ok in Tower 1, no cable just 'normal' viewing. No room safe or fridge which would be recommended. Air conditioning is pretty noise, particularly at this time of year cos you have to have it on to keep the room at a comfortable temperature, as the outside temperature for this time of year didnt get below 104F or 41C for the 7 days that I was in Las Vegas. Location of the hotel is gr8 for access to the strip, the Deuce bus has a drop off outside the hotel on either side of the strip. The Sherwood Forest Cafe has the best food and service for the price paid, the staff are very friendly and professional. If you are a member of the MGM group players card, the poker machines have the best rates for members. Gr8 hotel for kids/families. Enjoy it when u stay there.
