suite sucked

Horrible tiny hard sectional and in white of all colors plus its in middle of room with the giant bed with headboard obstructing the view? No coffee table an one tiny side table. Only one person faces the tv. If you want a view you have to go behind the desk to look out the small window and stand up! For the money not worth it. You'd be better off staining in there less expensive rooms.

POOL: The pools are awesome! They're the best on the strip! My personal favorite is the wave pool! It's better to stay at the Mandalay Bay if you want to continuously use the wave pool. You have to pay a $25 entrance fee if you aren't currently staying at the Mandalay Bay.

LOCATION: It's located at the end of the Strip. It takes longer to get to other places on the Strip, but it's also closest to the airport. Beautiful view of the Strip!

ROOMS: The hotel rooms are great! They are clean and well kept. The bathroom is very luxurious! It includes a toilet, bathtub, shower, marble sink, and tV.

RESTAURANTS: My top two favorite restaurants are the Red White and Blue and the buffet!

P.s if you need ideas on things to do while in Vegas I recommend:

• Madame Tussaud's wax museum
• M&M and Coca-Cola stores
• Tournament of Kings
• Beatles LOVE
• House of Blue

We stayed here for 3 nights and I loved it. Check in was a little slow due to their computers crashing, but they fixed it within 10 minutes and then the line moved quickly. Front desk staff were very nice and apologetic about the wait. Got to the room and it was very clean with a georgous strip view. We got the room free so that was even better! My daughters loved it. Yes, the casino did seem a little dead compared to others, but that didn't bother me or my mother, just gave us more options to play while our teens were in the pool!!

We stayed 5 nights this August, 2012. Mandalay Bay is at the far end of the strip so cab service anywhere else is more expensive as a result. $25 hotel resort fee includes the internet, which was LOUSY! Got kicked off internet every 30 seconds. Terrible. Plus, cell phones didn't seem to work in the lobby area, a big problem! The casino is surprisingly depressing, not sure why. The pool area is great however. A couple of lounge chairs with cushions and an umbrella ran $150 for the day. Lots of free chairs everywhere but few under shade. Lots of kids, lots.

The spa was beautiful and offers a $25/day pass to use hot tubs and saunas and a nice gym. And if you get a room high up, towards the end of the towers overlooking the strip, the view is simply fantastic! Hard to beat that anywhere else on the strip. The sheets were terrible, the furniture was old and beaten up, towels were few, and housekeeping seemed a bit lacking. Hard to get the bottom sheet changed. Room service food is prohibitively expensive. Better hotels to stay at, but if you get a great package deal, its worth it.
Liked: Pool area and the view
Dis-Liked: Bad internet and cell service. Distant location

I rarely venture outside casinos to use amenities since we go to gamble but we turned to "family funtime" for this trip. We stayed 4 nights in a 1500 X3 suite (22135) and had a great time thanks to SV.coms deal code we saved 30%. Beautiful views of strip, airport and mountains. Suite was spacious and the bathrooms were terrific. You could fit a football team into that shower-it's HUGE! Wake up and head to Evening Call at 11 and end the night at Evening call after midnight. mmmmmm, adult slurpees. Casino floor was always kinda dead compared to other casinos. Rented cabana 17 at the east lagoon for part of stay. Hostesses were all great. Food/drinks were priced adequately. Our 4 year old loved the wave pool or at least the wading area since those under 48" are prohibited from entering the main wave pool area. "stay behind the blue line!" I still hear the lifeguards yelling in my head. The teens loved the girl watching for countless hours. The only negative thing I have to say is about the entrance to the dropoff or Valet area. Seriously, 30 minutes to enter into the property to go to valet???? They have 2 entrances that merge into a 1 lane staging area that then opens into a taxi staging area, a pass through and multiple valet lanes but about 100 yards passed the bottleneck.

May 2010 we were in Vegas for 10 nights and spent 3 of them at Mandalay Bay (and the other nights at Stratosphere and Belagio) and we enjoyed MB the most. We also stayed at the Mirage in 2009. Not to take away from the other hotels because we had no issues with any of them, but, MB was our favorite. Very clean, quite and well lit in the casino area. I find that many of the casino's are quite dark and hard to find people if you get seperated, however, MB casino is easy to see because of good lighting and machines are not as cluttered of hard to see around/over. The buffett is amazing and staff very helpful. going back in April 2011 and spending another 3 night there and really looking forward to it. The wave beach/pool is amazing!!

This was our first stay at the Mandalay Bay and we had the best time ever. Everything was excellent from the restaurants to the amazing pool area. I was very impressed with the room, we got upgraded to a suite for free thanks to the promotion we used. The room was huge and we had an amazing view of the strip. Staff was very helpful and solved any issue we had. We spent most of our time lounging at the wave pool and eating at the restaurants inside the hotel (there's a large variety) we wanted to try them all but didn't have enough time. I recommend the breakfast at the House of Blues and if you like Sushi then you should definitely check out "RM Seafood" probably the best Sushi we ever had. We will surely be back, you can't go wrong with this hotel.

For an amazing view of the strip check out the "Mix Lounge" at THEHotel
View the strip from the 64th floor of the THEHotel (adjacent to the Mandalay Bay) the best time in my opinion would be in the early evening. This way you get to view the sunset and right after you can see the strip come to life when all the lights are turned on throughout the strip. Truly an amazing view.
