MGM Grand Poker Room Review
If you are looking for a poker room with fast paced action, great new technology, and a fun party environment, the poker room at the MGM Grand might be just the place for you. The MGM Grand poker room has been temporarily relocated to a cordoned-off area on the casino floor due to construction. Close to the Strip entrance and West Wing rooms, this 22-table, non-smoking poker room features high ceilings, televisions broadcasting sporting events and a modern, roomy space to play. Rumor has it, the MGM Grand poker room is one of the busiest rooms on the south side of the Strip. The room is divided between No Limit and Limit games and met in the middle by the dedicated cashier cage. Dealers are equipped with a state of the art control center that will allow them to summon a waitress, track player’s comps, and alert the manager that there is a seat free at their table for the next player. A high tech computer system links everything within the MGM, allowing for wonderful service. They also offer a personal paging system to each person on the waiting list, allowing them to explore other areas of the casino while waiting for a seat. Average wait time is sixty minutes. The rake at the MGM poker room is one of the most attractive of any of the strip casinos. For players that aren’t interested in high-hand or bad-beat jackpots, the MGM is the best place to play. Restrooms are located nearby and a complimentary valet service is offered to players to ease the walk time from valet parking to the room itself. Tableside massages are available along with convenient food and beverage service. The MGM Poker Room offers call drinks, energy drinks, and fruit juices. Tableside food delivery is offered 24 hours a day and can be paid for with accumulated comps on their M Life card.
